Culture, Traditions, and People
The British people have some of the longest standing histories and traditions in the world which has resulted in a rich culture and a strong people who have lived and prospered well over the years. These traditions include the food (Fish and Chips, Haggis, Crumpets, etc.), the drinks (Hot Tea and Beer), and the Royalty (i.e. the Queen, the Changing of the Guard, the Crown Jewels, etc.). However the British culture also includes unique sayings (Bob’s your Uncle, Stone the Crows, and Leg It), a strong sense of Nationalism and British pride, and quiet, conservative demeanor that gives the Brits an air of aristocracy and class that many other cultures struggle to replicate.
