Bio
I was born July 30, 1991 in Kansas City, MO and would eventually be the oldest of four kids. Since then I have lived in Jacksonville, FL and Oakwood, OH as my Dad was transferred to various newspapers within the American Business Journal network.
After graduating from Oakwood High School in 2009 I matriculated to Clemson University, in Clemson, SC, to run Cross Country and Track as well as participate in Air Force ROTC. Unfortunately, an early and severe calf injury pulled me off of the Clemson varsity team and I began running with the Clemson Club team while pursuing Bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. I also helped to start and became a Founding Father of the Kappa Upsilon chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity in my final semester at Clemson.
However, after two years out of competitive racing I wanted to get back into running and run at the NCAA level again. So I transferred to Tiffin University to run for legendary distance coach Ron Martin and study Political Science, which I have been doing for a year now and is what led me to the Tiffin University Olympic Experience.
