After a scant 3 or so hours sleep, I woke up at 5:15 and headed to the Kings Cross Tube station to take the Piccadilly Line to the Victoria Station and pick up the Gatwick Express to Gatwick Airport for my early morning flight to Dublin, Ireland. I caught a quick nap on the plane and landed in the late morning at the Dublin International Airport.
I met my friend Dorren and she took me off to visit the University College Dublin, where she and her husband Kevin are leading Academics in their fields. After showing me around the campus and meeting up, briefly, with Kevin we headed back to their house and I got a much needed nap before dinner.
For dinner we headed to a nice, coastal restaurant right on the water where I had some Tomato Bruschetta for starters and the best Fish and Chips that I've had yet! After dinner we walked along the beach and watched the sun set over the Irish Sea!
